This album is so underrated on here. So many great tracks. I can't understand for the life of me how this has a 3.1 average.

I was harsh on this record when it first released, and then ignored it completely for many years. After re-listening recently I have to say this is just as good as any of their best works?. I know Sputnik wants to keep them at a 3.8, but many of their albums deserve a 4. I'd give the album a 4.2, but will rate it a 4.5 to raise the average to it's rightful place as excellent.

While I understand this isn't a perfect album. It
is wonderful and inspiring. When I'm going through
a hard time I return to this band a lot. This
should have a higher average on here in my opinion
but I understand if it's not someone's thing. It's
catchy, great musicianship, great vocals.
Absolutely underrated band. Give them some love! I
do believe the self-titled EP is their best work
though. This band holds such a special place in my
heart. I could cry right now. |

Raw, emotional, and beautiful. I don't really get any complaints from other people about this album. Is it original? No. That doesn't mean it isn't executed almost to perfection. If you are a fan of the genre these guys are head and shoulders above a plethora of similar artists. Fantastic album.

So good. Words can't possibly do justice to this rrelease... so I won't pontificate. Extremely forward rthinking, much like King Crimson with Prog. Ehhhh.... rnot great comparison. This is a bridge between rinaccessible and accessible. Imogen Heap will get the rflowers when she goes. Should be sooner, and couldn't rhappen to many a better human. She is a genius. She's rlike an Issac Newton of Pop. Ariana Grande for godsakes rstole Goodnight and Go. Granted she gave full respect to rImogen, but still, who is getting more play?rEdit: Imogen Heap shouldn't be compared. This rcollaboration ris gold, even if it's not perfect. I feel like in r2025... listening to this does not feel dated at all. rNot even a little bit.

I personally love this album. From the incredibly chill atmosphere the music creates, to the beautiful vocals, to the cohesive nature of the experience. Catchy and passionate alternative post-hardcore. A bit long but not lacking in quality, The Inevitable and I is an hour you won't regret checking out.

This is honestly just too fucking good. The most refreshing post-hardcore band I have heard well, maybe ever. The riffs on this album are just so fresh and the experimentation is honestly astonishing to me. Listen to this people!
Nothing More Nothing More
I'll give this a 4.5 just because I think this band NEEDS to be heard and make it. They
shit on almost any other mainstream sounding rock band. Diverse, great vocals, superb
instrumentation, and experimental. This band certainly has that "it" factor. Really great
and if you dig this I suggest you try to look up prior albums. These guys kick ass.
Recommended to anyone who enjoys APC, Coheed, Fair to Midland, Breaking Benjamin, and for
any fan of rock music in general. |

Unearth Watchers of Rule
I had pretty much lost faith in these guys after the last couple albums but holy shit did
the go all out on this one. This might be the best album they've released. This shit is
filled to the brim with incredible musicianship, skull-crushing breakdowns, and beastly
vocals from Trevor. Every member is in top form here especially the drummer Nick. Wow is
this guy a MACHINE! This record made me eat my words and totally made me realize why I
fell in love with these guys nearly 10 years ago. Unearth is back and better than ever;
ready to demolish your face. |

"Easily the best thing they've ever done" rDeclaration would like a word with you. When you make that kind of statement the record should be head and shoulders above anything in their discography. This is not.

They had their own flavor at the time. Kevin's voice is very unique and he comes up with some great hooks here. Musicianship is solid, but nothing will blow you away. Their next album is better of the 2, but this one certainly has it's charm.
Linkin Park The Hunting Party
Seether Disclaimer
Spiritbox Tsunami Sea
Played it way too safe. Not bad, but missing the bright spots on Eternal Blue that really made those songs stand out. I can only hope moving forward, with the exposure they have now, that they stray a bit away from the radio stuff. Make the heavy songs more interesting. I'd say that's what this suffers most from. It's just kind of boring. They are still better than most bands of their ilk.
The Midnight Kids
The Offspring Splinter
The Offspring are a band I will always love for nostalgic reasons. Amercana was one of the
first cds I bought as a kid. Unfortunately that was these guy's last great album. They
truly have gotten shittier and shittier. This album is really where the band started to
show serious signs of age. A punkier album overall mixed with the usual straight forward
rockers, and a couple silly(albeit pretty bad) tracks. Nothing fantastic to be found here,
but not bad. As a fan for as long as I can remember, I can safely say that anything past
Conspiracy of One is not worth your time. Really I would just stick with Americana and
before. |
