One Day as a Lion One Day as a Lion
Can't see what you mean by a flawed E.P. Jon Theofore is a force to be reckoned with on this recording the way he is playing on this E.P. puts a lot of drummers to shame. The sheer imagination he has used to create such solid and yet complex grooves frankly gets my juices going. There is no point comparing this to any of his previous work because it is just too different, the stripped down nature of this project means Zach De La Rocha is able to scream his messages for all to hear without too much clutter. The keyboard on the E.P. gives folks a grounding and locks in with the drums that will make your head bob until it falls off this E.P. is less about full high fidelity sound and song quality and more about the feelings that Zach and Jon both share. They have produced a record which should get people thinking and jumping around Zach's music is a platform for his political rants and he's the only person out there really doing it I love this E.P. for its songs and its message and not just because its Zach De La Rocha at the helm.
