| This is why I feel Overkill is the most underrated and the best thrash band in the business. Ironbound is a complete record. This is one of those records that you can put on, and just push play and not have to skip over any tracks. I do not know of any other band that could put out a record with this high of quality 25 years and 16 albums into their career, but they managed to pull it off. The first track the green and black I feel is one of their best opening songs of all time, that song in itself is a masterpiece. The rest of the album holds up keeping you on a nice ride all the way through. Blitz's vocals on the head and heart literally give me goosebumps. This record is a must buy for any fan of thrash metal. Trust me you will not be disappointed. I saw them twice already this tour, once at the Nokia, and at the Starland ballroom. Live they are as powerful and tighter than ever. Bobby blitz is one of the few singers who does not back off from the screams and the high notes when you see them live, he sounds better than ever. |
