Bright Eyes I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning
Eddplant Confidence Tricks
Confidence Tricks is a very strong first release for Eddplant. I waited for the album, released on DFTBA Records, for months and now have had a few more months to reflect on it. The album starts with strong rock type tracks that are a bold introduction to the album. I; however, believe that the second half of the album is better lyrically. When I saw the track listing for this album my biggest concern was that four of the tracks had been acoustically released previously on his EP "2008." The musical differences; however, between the album release and EP release are drastic enough that it does not feel like a repeat of the songs. Overall I am very impressed by this album and cannot wait to see what else Ed can produce.

Favorite track(s): Butterfly in the Breeze and Too Late Now
Least favorite track(s): Untitled (Can't Find the Words)
