5.0 classic
Weezer Pinkerton
Where do I start!? My first taste of Weezer, and dammit what an experience it was! One of the very best albums of the 90's hands down.
Weezer Weezer

4.5 superb
Kanye West My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Wilco Yankee Hotel Foxtrot

4.0 excellent
Megadeth Endgame
Megadeth's best album in a WHILE. No "Rust in Peace", but still amazing considering its a classic band's most recent album *sudden quick stare at "Death Magnetic"*
Queens of the Stone Age Rated R
Sufjan Stevens Illinois
Laughably long song titles aside, Sufjan asks "What's in a name?". Great musicianship, vocals and overall complete command of his artistic vision, with "John Wayne Gacy Jr." and "Chicago" being the stand-outs.
Sufjan Stevens The Age of Adz
Wu-Tang Clan Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)
With basically no weak links in the Wu-Tang Clan, everybody gets a chance to rap, everybody gets a chance to be awesome. The production by The RZA is way ahead of its time as well...

3.5 great
Andrew W.K. I Get Wet
Animal Collective Merriweather Post Pavilion
Mos Def The Ecstatic
Weezer Maladroit
Weezer The Green Album

3.0 good
My Chemical Romance The Black Parade
A couple bright spots here and there that show MCR trying to branch out to be much more than just a punk band...trying would be the word, though.
