I dont know if anyone else feels the same, like there isn't any passion left, everybody wants to do something for a quick buck. But if you take time and look you will find a hidden gem. Thats what happened with CTA. When I heard the first track, "Patients Prognosis," I knew I had found something that I was gonna spend a lot of time with, which is why i felt like i should write this. After the beginning intro, the vocals tear in, scratching and angry. He switches it up though. With almost black metal screams and wails. Every song has its own little part that you have to hear everytime, so listening to it all the way through is not a challenge. The guitars are fast and when they need to be; beautiful. The keys and atmosphere on "Dead Fire in a Cold Room" are chilling, and a nice little interlude before another 4 brutal songs when you get another break on "Ashamed, Awake." If you like BTBAM, check these guys out. The riffs these guys bust out are so catchy, Safest Road to Hell is one of the best songs I have heard in a while, the Zakk Wylde like riff, and the ending solo are really proof that these guys are hopefully going to fronting this scene with the other greats shortly.
