This album really brings back the root styles and attitudes of punk, along the lines of The Sex Pistols. I've seen these guys live, and they really bring the show. The lyrics are great and the music is definitely something you rock out to.

The Scenic Bipolaroid
Bipolaroid is the second studio album from The Scenic, and I have to admit, I was blown away. Their style changed, the first album was very pop-rock, this one they definitely turned on the distortion, while sticking to the same genre well enough.

The first single off the album to have a music video is "Uh Oh". This song is expressing being lonely and being short-handed of any real friends, this shown in the music video by the rabbit character acting like his friend but not really existing and leaving him with mess he created. The music is original compared to anything I've heard. The lyrics are just real, being poetic yet blunt at times.

Each song is addicting, no matter what mood you may be in, there's one to fit. The Scenic have pulled off a brilliant album. They have matured in their lyrics and evolved their sound into something better than imaginable had you only heard the first album, "Find Yourself Here", prior to hearing this album.

Armor For Sleep What To Do When You Are Dead
'What To Do When You Are Dead' was the 2nd studio release from Armor For Sleep. The album is very expressive and emotional. It may not be for everyone, there are no songs that are just for a fun time, they are all objective in the way that Ben Jorgensen expresses himself through verse to chorus and back through the verses again.

I believe everyone has a song they can relate to on this album and that's what makes it great. Sure, it's not much of a story-teller, but the lyrics and music are creative and original, and that's all that really matters isn't it, letting music being music and the more of a connection you feel to it, the better it is.

I'd suggest this album over any other Armor For Sleep album, simply because it's got songs like "Remember To Feel Real" and "My Town" that just stick in your heart and you want to belt them out whether you can sing or not.
