sonreal The Lightyear Mixtape
The challenge of getting yourself out there is something that every artist has dealt. Sonreal is no exception to this and though he is still young and restless he has more potential than a lot of rappers making seven figures.

In his latest effort Sonreal presents upon us The Lightyear Mixtape. Without a doubt it's a step forward from his previous releases. The lyrical content that's encompassed in this release shows a more optimistic Sonreal. "Already There" starts off the album by immersing our ears with Sonreal's unbelievable self-confidence. Halfway through "Victim Teen" kicks in and we're thrown into the lives of two bullied teens aside from his description of what they went through we're instantly shown how they overcame those moments and are now in better positions than previously stated.

Overall The Lightyear Mixtape is a very well rounded musical experience and shows us a more optimistic side that can be brought out with hip hop.
