The riffs are huge, loud, and incredibly groovy, and the lyrics couldn't be more quintessential stoner rock. This album is a monster. It kicks so much ass it hurts. Listen if you like Kyuss or banging your head...

Muse's first LP is their best. It was back when they had their awesomely weird, almost creepy sound that they have since all but let slip away. This is Muse untainted by success, they play epic tunes in a subdued way, much unlike the pretentious new stuff. It all works.

Redneck Manifesto I Am Brazil
This album does everything it's trying to do and then some. So many interesting changes and
patterns, but it's never too much to wrap your head around. It never finds itself dragging
like some post-rock albums sometimes can, but still always manages to give you enough so you
don't feel lost in all the changes which end up flowing together almost seamlessly. The
guitarists play together and compliment one another amazingly, the bass grooves nicely and
the rhythm section is tight. This album is a fantastic mathy post-rock album, a must listen!
