Although the way the album is mixed wasn't entirely what the artists would have liked due to their one and only stint with a bigger time record label, it still shows how a band can work together to create a sound that is bigger than each can create on their own... a true synergy. I personally didn't like it the first 2 or 3 times listening to it...a song here or there...but for some reason I couldn't stop listening to it, each song has a meaning that could be different for each who listens. Musicianship is stellar and yes...they play like that live...but even better.
