The way this band alternates between calm, controlled sections and frantic bursts of emotion is brilliant. Although it's a little rough around the edges this album is truly a gem.
Steve Reich Different Trains/Electric Counterpoint
The Angelic Process Weighing Souls With Sand
The Angelic Process Coma Waering
The Pineapple Thief Little Man
In my opinion, the best album they have done to date. This is probably their most concise work, but it still has an epic feel to it. We Love You and Dead in the Water are fantastic.

Cave In Perfect Pitch Black
Kayo Dot Stained Glass
LoOmis A Solitary Attraction
I love the textures created on this album. And while it feels, for the most part, "chill," it still has plenty to keep you interested the whole way through.
maudlin of the Well My Fruit Psychobells... A Seed Combustible
Oceansize Home & Minor
Opeth Morningrise
Opeth My Arms, Your Hearse
Pure Reason Revolution The Dark Third
Riverside Out of Myself
Riverside Anno Domini High Definition
Rush Grace Under Pressure
The Butterfly Explosion Lost Trails
This is a good start for this band. The sound is just amazingly warm a fuzzy. A little bit more variability in their sound would be nice, along with a little improvement on the song structure in general. It will be interesting to see what these guys can do with their next album.

Slipknot Iowa
Soilwork Figure Number Five
Soilwork Natural Born Chaos
the Widest Smiling Faces Me and My Ribcage
A pretty solid effort from this band. Slow, dream poppy, shogazey stuff. While they don't break any new ground on this release. Tracks like "I used to have sad eyes," "The reddest blues," and "Heaven" are standouts. Check it out. http://music.thewidestsmilingfaces.com/album/me-and-my-ribcage

2.5 average
Breaking Benjamin Dear Agony
Deftones Koi No Yokan
Hybrid (UK) Wide Angle
Justice Audio, Video, Disco
Megadeth Rust in Peace
Just way too overrated. I know that the technical work is good, but vocals are part of the music too. And the vocals are intolerable.
Megadeth Peace Sells... but Who's Buying?
Pure Reason Revolution Hammer & Anvil
Radiohead The King of Limbs
Rush Hemispheres
Rush Snakes & Arrows
Rush Vapor Trails
Shinedown Us and Them
Slipknot Slipknot
Sophia Fixed Water
There are a couple really good tracks on this album, but it feels like the ideas on the songs don't come together consistently. Definitely worth a listen, though, if you're in the mood for some downer chill-out music.
