People have to realize that the making of this album was brought upon solely for the reason that AG had ideas that didn't fit into Circa's grand scheme of things. Originally, Anthony didn't want to do the album and wanted to focus on advancing Circa, buut the guys ebcouraged him to make Avalon. And it certainly wasn't a waste of time. Anthony's "Beautiful Things" (his long-in-production second solo album) will be similarly folkish and acoustic...but certainly better I hope.
