Alexisonfire Watch Out!
Arcade Fire Funeral
At the Drive-In Relationship of Command
What a great album... every song is unique, well crafted and never dull, from the 'balls out
hardcore' jams to the more introspective ones( looking at you 'Non Zero Possibility'). All flows
nicely through the entire album duration, and it has aged so well. Their Magnum Opus if i had to
Biffy Clyro The Vertigo of Bliss
Bloc Party Silent Alarm
Frightened Rabbit The Midnight Organ Fight
Great album, lyrics are incredibly heartfelt. A classic, at least to me.

And they did it again, another classic. I was afraid they might turn down a notch quality wise this time, or just make the same album again (which wouldn't be too bad), but they managed to maintain their level while adding something new in the mix.. well done sirs.

Manchester Orchestra Mean Everything to Nothing
Manchester Orchestra A Black Mile to the Surface
A grower.. on first listen, due to being so fluid from song to song, although i enjoyed it, it
can make the impression that all is a big enjoyable blur. After you let it sink in and get the
hang of it, it's full of superb songs and the wholeness of the album just makes it better. It may
become a 5 in time, who knows? A 4.5 at the moment.

Slowdive Slowdive
Getting the news that Slowdive were back was, by its own, reason to rejoice, and if to that we add a new album, the expectations skyrocketed, at least for me, being Souvlaki one of my favorite albums. High expectations are hard too meet though, and it's always risky to come back 20 years later. Happily, Slowdived did met the expectations and gave us a superb record, full of walls of sound, dream-pop textures and space rock riffs. A AOTY contender.

alt-J This Is All Yours
alt-J Relaxer
It's another great album. If it wasn't for a misstep called 'Hit me with your Snare' (which isn't
bad 'per se' but feels too out of place in the album) it could reach slightly higher ratings. Two
of my favorite tracks of the year on this: 3ww and adeline; you should check them out even if
you aren't too keen on alt-j, but i'm not telling what to do.

A great return album. If you were expecting that the band who helped change the game back in the
day would return after 17 years and change the game again, then prepare for disapointment. If you

At first this may be a minor let down if you are waiting for the return to TTTS. It turns down

It's Kendrick being Kendrick and releasing another quality album, although at first it seems to lack the wholeness from the previous two releases, and the beats are a less structured and textured, which can be a con or pro depending on the listener taste (a con for me, not a major con but a con nonetheless).r(4,1)

Arcade Fire Everything Now
Definitely their worst efort to date. Still have some great tracks (PYMOM, WDDL) and some
renjoyable ones (Electric Blue, s/t(although this one get's fastidious after a while)).. Some
filler and then... chemistry (don't dig that one at all.. so uninspired and repetitive.. it drags
for what feels like eternity on its 3:34 duration). WDDL prevents this from being average.
