A grower.. on first listen, due to being so fluid from song to song, although I enjoyed it, it caused the impression that all was a big enjoyable blur. After you let it sink in and get the hang of it, it's full of superb songs and the wholeness of the album just makes it better.
It may become a 5 in time, who knows? A 4.5 at the moment.
Edit : well, it's a 5.

At first this may be a minor let down if you are waiting for the return to TTTS. It turns down rthe hardcore edge of the band and turns up the more anthemic vein of ES. All in all, an hand full rof great additions to future setlists. Favs: An ode to Lost Jigsaw Pieces ; Airfieldr(3.8)

Slowdive Slowdive
Getting the news that Slowdive were back was, by its own, reason to rejoice, and if to that we add a new album, the expectations skyrocketed, at least for me, being Souvlaki one of my favorite albums. High expectations are hard too meet though, and it's always risky to come back 20 years later. Happily, Slowdived did met the expectations and gave us a superb record, full of walls of sound, dream-pop textures and space rock riffs. A AOTY contender.

And they did it again, another classic. I was afraid they might turn down a notch quality wise this time, or just make the same album again (which wouldn't be too bad), but they managed to maintain their level while adding something new in the mix.. well done sirs.r(5)

It's another great album. If it wasn't for a misstep called 'Hit me with your Snare' (which isn't
bad 'per se' but feels too out of place in the album) it could reach slightly higher ratings. Two
of my favorite tracks of the year on this: 3ww and adeline; you should check them out even if
you aren't too keen on alt-j, but i'm not telling what to do.

A great return album. If you were expecting that the band who helped change the game back in the
day would return after 17 years and change the game again, then prepare for disapointment. If you

A fun record. This guys make some catchy tunes... 'Bad Things' is infectious.
Minus the Bear Menos El Oso
Minus the Bear VOIDS
The album is composed mostly by 'filler' songs (Minus the Bear 'filler' isn't bad per
se) . Not terrible but kinda bland. (3)

At first listen, it's good, not as jam packed as the debut, but with a nice movie like feeling as
a whole (as the sophomore album).

Definitely their worst efort to date. Still have some great tracks (PYMOM, WDDL) and some
renjoyable ones (Electric Blue, s/t(although this one get's fastidious after a while)).. Some
filler and then... chemistry (don't dig that one at all.. so uninspired and repetitive.. it drags
for what feels like eternity on its 3:34 duration). WDDL prevents this from being average.
Hopefuly is their worst album ever..

the 2.7 average feets this album.. some good tunes, but much of the same for this guys.

Gorillaz Humanz
Few great tracks, some ok tracks, much filler.. Musics here tend to be a bit boring and the guests are all over the place, making the record feel like a compilation album. Not impressed (2.6)

Kasabian For Crying Out Loud
This is a little above average.. but still average.. after Velociraptor! i was still excited to
see where they were heading with their sound.. unfortunately 48:13 was a really really wrong step
(at least for me). This is better.. some nice tunes for the genre ( Ill Ray, Comeback kid) but
abundance of filler songs. (2.7)

Ozzy Osbourne Ordinary Man

Portugal. The Man Woodstock
Few bangers (looking at you 'Noise Polution' and 'Feel it Still') but much filler and some
cringe inducing tunes too. A major let down by this band.
