5.0 classic
Between the Buried and Me Alaska
Botch We Are the Romans
Really awesome stuff here; good amounts of diversity on the album e.g. think swimming the channel as opposed to mondrian, but the last song (hidden track) really ruined the consistency of the album. C'mon a drum and bass ending?

Converge Jane Doe
Cynic Traced in Air
Deftones White Pony
Explosions in the Sky The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place

A Perfect Circle Thirteenth Step
Alexisonfire Alexisonfire
All That Remains The Fall of Ideals
Funtastic guitar solos, but cookie-cutter sing-scream song dynamics for most of the album.
Arcade Fire The Suburbs
Architects Nightmares
As Cities Burn Come Now Sleep
August Burns Red Constellations
Another good listen that is largely what you make of it; fun if given attention, but completely ignorable background noise if attention is not given to it.

This seems like an album where Cougar were finding their sound i.e. electronic influences mixed with post-rock, but the distilled and superior album can be found on Patriots.

I love something about this album - be it the quirkiness, the interesting guitar work, or simply an album from a big, tall guy in a costume making music about his hypothetical abusement park, but this is a staple for anyone who wants to give BigB a shot past some of his better, later solo works e.g. Decoding The Tomb of Bansheebot.

Stale song structures are flourished excellence playing and new instrumentation, but they are still nothing new to the genre; the addition of piano, cello, and violin is not a novel idea, which does little to bolster the album as being worth listening to.
