4.5 superb
Alphabeat This is Alphabeat
Superbly upbeat and genuinely cute, which is quite rare among the representatives of European pop music nowadays.

This one was love at first listen, and was definitely among the best albums of the year.

At first I was hesitating to even consider liking this album (despite the fact that I really like this kind of music), but it turned out to be a worthy investment of listening. rIf you let it grow on you, it just fucking rocks.

3.5 great
Active Child You Are All I See
After a while his voice gets annoying, but in moderate amount this is definitely an interesting try.
Alanis Morissette Under Rug Swept
Alex Winston Velvet Elvis EP
Asobi Seksu Citrus
Beach House Teen Dream
Blonde Redhead Penny Sparkle
It is, by no means, bad, and I knew that the conclusive album of their late style would come sooner or later. What can I say, it is a pretty album, no doubt of that, and their sound is extremely polished, and sharply refined. So go ahead and give it your finger, it won't bite your hand off.

3.0 good
Alanis Morissette Flavors of Entanglement
Typically good material of her, yet slightly disappointing with its periodically superfluous lyrics and, respectively, boring musical ideas.
Bear in Heaven I Love You, It's Cool
I was inclined to rate it better after the first few songs, but the ending was so disappointing and the songs were so similar, that it ended up as simply a 3. Should've been better, could've been better.
Blonde Redhead Misery is a Butterfly
KinKi Kids A Album
Lacuna Coil Karmacode
Lana Del Rey Lana Del Ray a.k.a Lizzy Grant
Yet to listen to her (in)famous last album. Nonetheless, this one was a pleasantly surprising listen.
Lord Huron Lonesome Dreams
The Decemberists The Crane Wife
Thom Yorke The Eraser
Zola Jesus Conatus
Well, at first it was to be a "Classic", as I really enjoyed The Spoils, and it seemed that she will pull it off again; however, she sounds just plain distant and somewhat cold on this one, which alienates me. The songs are great, but I would have expected some chatarsis, with this voice and all.

2.5 average
Coeur de Pirate Coeur de Pirate
Delightfully french (-canadian, that is!) and yet passionless and plain, like a croissant without filling. Pity.
Lacuna Coil Dark Adrenaline
The Cranberries Roses
It is definitely not mediocre or anything, but no new sound (after a decade!) or more than two actually interesting songs I have found on this album. Pity.

2.0 poor
Lacuna Coil Shallow Life
A shocking new direction and enough cheesiness for an 80's sitcom. Regard with precaution.
The Ting Tings Sounds from Nowheresville
At first I wanted to rate this average, but, frankly, it's so shallow and meaningless. It
was nearly not as bad as I would have expected, but after 4 tracks I just couldn't care
less, and neither could they.
