Fortunately, they manage to stick to their roots on this album, most notably on songs such as Smile and The Nephilim, while still hinting at the more dramatic emotional territory they would explore on their next album. Compared to other albums in their catalogue The Art of Drowning is slightly underrated, but I believe it stands as one of their finest.Hot Cross Cryonics
