Against Me! Reinventing Axl Rose
Against Me! Shape Shift With Me
Currently on the fence with this, although it does get better with repeat listens. It's much more
eclectic than 'Transgender...' which is a plus, but it lacks the cohesion. Starts off fairly well,
hits its peak around the middle, then takes a massive nose dive at the end with the last two
songs. Highlights: the last two singles ("333" was a bad choice), "Dead Rats", and "Delicate,
Petite..." |

Bring Me The Horizon Suicide Season
Once you listen to 'There Is A Hell...' you appreciate 'Suicide Season' so much more. Downpoints of the album are that there are a couple too many "joke" songs whereas their more serious material definitely comes off as better, i.e. 'The Sadness Will Never End', 'Suicide Season', 'It Was Written In Blood'. Even the more straight up grindy tracks have a sense of urgency and unrestrained aggression that just trouses the shit tracks that are 'Football Season Is Over', 'Death Breath', and 'No Need For Introductions...' (even though that final riff is fucking killer).

Not a single bad track. Probably THE best sound I've heard from a metal band. The flow is perfect, constantly balls-to-the-wall metal without overdoing the aggression. I can't find a single thing wrong with this record.

Other than "Flood of Red" and the outro to "The Haunting" this is a stellar record. The vocals take a more hardcore, almost Oli Sykes-esque yell on this record, and to be honest aren't as good as the low gutturals on the first two albums, but guitar work and production has stepped up a notch and is definitely worth a listen.
