What the FUCK guys. I suppose some of us can't appreciate the fact that a band takes a different approach on its sound sometimes. As much as I enjoy the first 4 QOTSA albums, Era Vulgaris blew me away at the first listen. Homme running out of ideas? I disagree. It's just called musical maturity. I enjoy the industrial touch of this album, I think it's a great experimental success for Queens. I wouldn't necessarily want them to focus on that particular sound on the next albums, but come on, this album deserve WAY more than 1.5. I find it more interesting than Lullabies, which was good but also very commercial. I'm glad to see Josh isn't the partying young adult he used to be. He's a grown up man, he's trying new stuff like "I'm Designer" and I just love it. Kudos to QOTSA, 5 awesome records in a row. Quite a feat for an extremely underrated band.

Arcade Fire Neon Bible
Gosh. I'm sick of the Arcade Fire hype. They are NOT the greatest band in the world. As much as I enjoyed Funeral, which is a fantastic album, can't deny it, Neon Bible just misses the point. It's a pretentious, boring record from a band that's trying sound avant-garde. Please Arcade Fire, stop acting like whores and grow up. Next thing we know they'll be giving secret shows in dumpsters and cemetaries... sorry, better luck next time.
