It has all of the soothing electronica/syntehesizer elements that I have come to expect from this band, while incorporating a much more optimistic sense of song writing that makes the songs very easy to listen to. Although there are a few misplaced songs and a few stale lyrics, these songs are very fun to listen to and often quite inspiring in how much they've improved since "Hate Culture". Overall, while there are a few hiccups along the way, "Noir" was a seedy, atmospheric trip that kept me entertained trhoughout.2.5 averageWilliam Control Hate Culture
