We would probably looking at now would be something like what hapenned to Against Me! (they went all soft...) Yet, all the changes they've made are great and from TETA to SC, they've keeped their consistency-going prog-thrash and adopting some really inteligent critics while keeping the swearing bag full.Propagandhi Supporting CasteRaised Fist Sound of the RepublicRebuke WouldworksStreetlight Manifesto Everything Goes NumbStrike Anywhere Change Is a SoundStrung Out Exile In OblivionStrung Out Suburban Teenage Wasteland BluesThe Lawrence Arms Oh! It's nothing special. it's just one of those pop-punk bands, that should'nt even be considered punk. Aside from shut it down, contention and chop shop, it's pretty much going the same way as New Found Glory. So, you are completely right and don't exaggerate a bit when you say that it's pop. I don't know why bands want to be punk and somewhat refused by society and at the same time, recieve prizes from MTV (yes, I'm talking to you Green Day) and be world wide famous. This doesn't sound bad...anyway... This is just another band seeking success out of punk. The song punk rawk celebrity pretty much says it all- they simply want to be an instrument for the masses. White CrossesAlkaline Trio This AddictionThe moment I started listening to this album, I was quite disappointed. Besides, Piss and vinegar is a song from Against Me!'s New Wave. Coincidence or plagium??? Seriously, I don't like the songs in this cd a bit. I don't know why so many people like it so much. This is a fail.Anti-Flag The Bright Lights of AmericaWith this album, I'm pretty sure they had good intentions. They must have thought it would be nice to put children singing for them. They were wrong. It's pretty much crap. I like their ideas, army with no guns (YAY!) politicians are sh*t, so is america... We already got it. I don't need you to remember that to me I got really worried with this album. Mobilize was cool... Anti-Flag is a good band when it comes to ideas, but I always considered when it comes to technique the same level as NOFX.
