This review itself has a more condescending vibe to it; maybe in disagreement with their at-times bold message.
I do agree about some of the lyrics and the vocal recordings being more monotonous. However, I believe, instrumentally, the songwriting is better and more developed than Fight With Tools. Also, the Violist's parts are more prominent and well done.
Also, its nice to see that they're actively doing something with their message, having started their own inner city non-profit community organization, Fight With Tools, while at the same time not being millionaire/billionaire artists. |
