5.0 classic
Neurosis Times of Grace
Sonic Youth Daydream Nation
Sonic Youth Goo

4.5 superb
Amebix Sonic Mass
Bardo Pond Amanita
Easily the most cohesive, accessible album from these murky, psych masters. Not a bad tune to be found.
Neurosis Through Silver in Blood
Neurosis Given to the Rising
Sonic Youth Sister
Sonic Youth Evol
The Black Angels Passover

4.0 excellent
Amebix Monolith
Amebix No Sanctuary - The Spiderleg Recordings
Bardo Pond Lapsed
An extremely fierce, hard-hitting psychedelic excursion. Lapsed is worth the price of admission for the opening tracks "Tommy Gun Angel", "Pick My Brain", and "Flux". The second half drops off a bit.
Bardo Pond Dilate
Bardo Pond Ticket Crystals
Another solid release from Bardo Pond. Standout tracks include "Destroying Angel", the brutal "Endurance", and an amazing cover of The Beatles' "Cry Baby Cry". This album proves that Bardo Pond can successfully strike the right chord with their murky wall of sound, or delicate offerings.
Baroness Red Album
Baroness Blue Record
Bison Earthbound
Bison Quiet Earth
Bison Dark Ages
Doomriders Darkness Come Alive
Killing Joke Killing Joke (2003)
Killing Joke Absolute Dissent
Kylesa Time Will Fuse Its Worth
Neurosis The Eye of Every Storm
Neurosis Enemy of the Sun
Sonic Youth Sonic Nurse
Sonic Youth Murray Street
Stonehelm Stonehelm
Stonehelm brings pounding, psychedelic doom to crush your lame ass. Think Electric Wizard with just a few more rpm’s. Excellent stoner-metal.
SUMA Let the Churches Burn
Sweet Cobra Praise
Great Noise/Metal band. Sweet Cobra would have fit nicely on Amphetamine Reptile Records. The sound is abrasive, but there are definitely hooks to be had. Vocals may not appeal to everyone.
The Black Angels Directions to See a Ghost
The Gories I Know You Fine, but How You Doin'
Tombs Winter Hours
Unearthly Trance The Trident

3.5 great
Bardo Pond Set And Setting
This album contains one of Bardo Pond's greatest tunes: "This Time (So F****D)". This track could easily pass for a demo song of American shoegaze noise-merchants Medicine. The rest of the album isn't nearly as memorable.
Black Math Horseman Wyllt
Doomriders BLACK THUNDER
Kylesa Static Tensions
Neurosis Souls at Zero
Neurosis Sovereign
Sonic Youth Rather Ripped
Sonic Youth The Eternal
Tombs Tombs
Unearthly Trance Electrocution

3.0 good
Amebix Arise!
Bardo Pond On The Ellipse
Baroness First & Second
SUMA Ashes
"Ashes" is a bit of a letdown as a follow-up to the excellent "Let the Churches Burn". Headwound is a great opening tune, but the rest of the album painfully plods along like a wounded beast.
The Black Angels Phosphene Dream
The Sword Age of Winters

2.5 average
Bardo Pond Bufo Alvarius, Amen 29:15
Kylesa To Walk A Middle Course
Neurosis A Sun That Never Sets
SUMA Suma
Stoner/Doom by the numbers. It's slow, it's heavy, but it isn't very original. SUMA really came into their own with their later albums "Let the Churches Burn" and, to a lesser extent, "Ashes".

2.0 poor
