Love this album, its so epic in everyway. I kind of have to be in a sorta sad mood to listen to it though. But every song is fantastic, except the one about Jesus. But, gee this album's packet with long good songs.
Neutral Milk Hotel In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
Operation Ivy Energy
Pavement Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain
My favorite Pavement, with more variety and maturity than their sister album"Slanted", but still keeping the fun of Pavement. This is one of those albums that I really liked at first and still like it. At first the songs were muddled together, hard to distinguish because of the flow. I could get rid of "Filmore Jive". A chill album with chill songs for the most part! Such a classic, all the songs feel very nostalgic.

Pixies Doolittle
Rage Against the Machine Rage Against the Machine
Refused The Shape Of Punk To Come
Sonic Youth Daydream Nation
Noise, Noise, and some more Noise all put together in a meaningful fashion. Quiet, Loud, Quiet, Loud. All the extremes are on here. From when Thurston starts singing on "Teenage Riot" to the aggressiveness on Silver Rocket that will be right here on the album. That awesome guitar riff in "Total Trash" that leads into a crazy guitar work for the last two minutes. To the odd "Providence" with beautiful piano, seeming like its from a war movie. Just let this album sync in!
Sonic Youth Sister
The Beatles Abbey Road
The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
The Clash London Calling
A very very very varied album, with punk rock at its base; sprinkled with reggae and ska. Hard punk rock to joyful "Lover's Rock". This album flow seaminglessly well. The hit single in the U.K. "London Calling" compared to the joful "Train in Vain" in the U.S. just show how varied the Clash were at this stage, when they edging on popularity. This is Clash's best album!

Nostalgic 90's rock for me. I liked this so much in the 6th grade, I still do. People say this is overrated, well its not. Its really good rock music.

Pavement Slanted and Enchanted
Amazing album that influenced lo-fi and indie rock. Starting off very strong with Summer Babe and Trigger Cut/Wounded Kite At: 17. Sprinkled with playful songs such as "Conduit For Sale", "Chelsey's Little Wrists", "Two States"and "Fame Throwa". Some slower serious song "In the Mouth of a Desert", "Zurich is Stained", "Here", "Our Singer". This album would be a bit better without the amaeturish songs, but this is when Pavement was at an amateur stage...their first record. Just a good album overall, although the last third slumps a little. Get this along side their sister album "Crooked, Rain Crooked Rain". This is definitely a strong 9.

A)Reason I found out about this band- Garden Stater B) Reason I love this album- One of my first albums I ever owned, that pretty cool. 1. Since listening to this album again and again, then coming back to it. I still like it just as much as I did back then. 2. Switches between very fun pop songs to ballad-like songs. Think Caring is Creepy, New Slang, the Past and Pending; then Know Your Onion, Girl Inform Me, Past and Pending. 3. The only problem I have with this album is a weak midsection right after New Slang, starting with just a little bit "Girl on the Wing", and then "Your Algebra. But, it picks up with "Pressed in a Book", and leaves off with the amazing "Past and Pending".

Belle and Sebastian If You're Feeling Sinister
Best music to listen to while reading on a Sunday while drinking tea, or any day. Very calm and relaxing. "Get Me Away" is very catch also.

Belle and Sebastian Dear Catastrophe Waitress
Really like some songs, some songs are really gay in a way. Uh
Ben Folds Rockin' The Suburbs
I think Ben Folds should do more like "Rockin the Suburs", he's really good at those. Although I do like his piano songs, they seem to have lost the real fun some of them used to have. I really like it though. How could you not?
Broken Bells Broken Bells
Nothing amazing here except for "The High Road" really. Overall, a very sleepy album although that I enjoy, and see something going for them in a good direction. "Ghost on Side" is really good too. The other songs are just good.

No Age Nouns
No Age Everything In Between
This is the definite punk album of the year. The vocals remind me Joey Ramone a bit, but much better. Come listen to some nice loud off the wall songs, think, "Fever Dreaming", "Depletion","Valley Hump Crash", and "Sorts". Then sing along to poppier tracks "Glitter" and "Chem Trails". Oh, if you like instrumental tracks, then well they have them here to here. I think this a very solid album. Give it some listens and let it sync in. I do think they could do without the instrumental tracks...4 tracks. They just aren't interesting enough to be instrumental. My favorite tracks are "Fever Dreaming", "Sorts", and "Chem Trails". I can kinda relate this to Wavves's King of the Beach. I really liked the punk songs, but could do away with the odd electronic songs.!

Used to love this album so much, very relaxing album the tells stories of an old-1800s feel. Very well structured songs, although some songs drag on and on. Gotta love the July, July (the only fast song)
The Offspring Greatest Hits
The Shins Wincing the Night Away
A new fresh poppy direction for the Shins. The songs that are awesome are just plain awesome, and I personally think the Shins should've done more of those songs; think "Australia", "Sleeping Lessons", "Phantom Limb", "Turn On Me". Basically the singles. the other songs are too bland except for "Sea Legs" and "Girl Sailor".

Wavves King of the Beach
Very fun album with elements of punk in many songs. Surf elements in "King of the Beach" and all of the faster songs. Self hate in "Idiot". "Take on the World", and "Green Eyes". Some psychedelic songs like"When Will you come?", "Baseball Cards", and "Convertible Balloon. rBest songs- Post Acid and King of the BeachrCons- Alot of repetivenessrBottom Line- If you enjoy fun and fast music with punk and indie elements. And a sense of not caring, then buy. And turn up the volume. It does have a departing sound from the previous Wavves albums though.

Kid Cudi Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager
MGMT Oracular Spectacular
MGMT did something that many bands may find themselves in. They 3 very good singles. And didn't really care about the rest of the album. Well, not really; they tried to make the other songs as good but really couldn't make them come close. Although I do dig the acoustic "Pieces of What".
MGMT Congratulations
"It's Working"- 7, "Song For Dan Treacy"- 7, "Someone's Missing"-7, "Flash Delirium"- 9, "I Found a Whistle"-7, "Siberian Peaks"- 9.5, "Brian Eno"-8, "Lady Dada's Nightmare"- 6, "Congratulations"- 9.5:"70=3.5" (I think it's more of an album than Oracular Spectacular, its flows really good; ending witch a great song)
