Their sound is really unique in a way I can't really describe. Radio Protector is the best song on the whole album. So epic, that song alone is enough for me to rate it 'Classic'. All the other songs are just as amazing, making this a truly epic listen. |

Anberlin Cities |
Every song on this album has the best written lyrics I've ever come across. Stephen's voice is different from the other mainstream rock bands, and that makes Anberlin a wonderful band. Cities takes them to a whole new level, they show how much they have matured in comparison to Never Take Friendship Personal and Blueprints for the Black Market. They have grown musically and even lyrically, even though Stephen's songwriting is flawless on every album. My favorite Anberlin album. I don't think any album will ever top this one. |

Sonata Arctica Unia |
Unia takes Sonata to a whole other level, both musically and lyrically. Some songs are catchy, some are the most uneasy-listening Sonata has ever created, like 'Under Your Tree' and 'Worlds Forgotten, World Forbidden', which means that they weren't trying to be more commercial. When I first listened to Unia I seriously thought that it was some kind of joke. They didn't sound like all their other albums. After listening to it again and again and again, I actually found myself enjoying the album and after a while, it became my favorite. The lyrics are deep and meaningful, the songs are carefully constructed and contain so much harmony and melody. I was kind of disappointed when The Days of Grays wasn't like Unia at all, and I hope they'll release an album like Unia somewhere in the future. |
