| I found all of Nox Arcana's albums (maybe except for Necronomicon) great, but this one is just amazing, mostly due to the fact that its subject matter is entirely based on Edgar Allen Poe's stories and poems. The Track "Masque of the Red Death" is a great, creepy orchestral piece. |

| I'm thinking this album would deserve a 3.8 or a 3.9. In my opinion, it doesn't hold a candle to the Self Titled album. But there are still some really cool sounding riffs and writing in this album. To be honest, he seems to have gotten better at tapping and slap guitar. Its just a shame he couldn't have wrote it with a more jazzy feel rather then a more electronic feel. |

| Man, this album is seriously under- rated. I found this to be an excellent Black Ambient album. Freaky as shit, no doubt, but that is probably why it is so good. The creepy atmospheric instruments and the occasional dark voices made this album, to me anyway, 8 tracks of skin crawling, piss pantsing (yes, I said piss pantsing) greatness that I have only found from Blut Aus Nord so far in my exploration of Black Metal. |
