The second half is amazing however and Fiction in particular is absolutley brilliant. The Rev's voice and words really have a haunting quality and so its hard not to be affected. | Straight from the start is kicks you hard in the teeth and doesnt stop. Although the choice of putting an instrumental(An Endless Serenade) 4th was a little odd, it works well as a long build up. The vocals are brilliant, with Call Me Sick Boy in particular highlighting both the screamed and clean vocals. Good instrumental work also makes this shine above the usual output from the Post-Hardcore genre. |

Reviewed the first two "waves" of this and unfortunately that meant I had heard most of
the album before release.
Some fantastic tracks on here like "Still Feel Like Your Man", "Helpless", "In The Blood"
and "Moving On & Getting Over". Quite varied too, but there's definitely one or two
filler tracks on here and it never reaches the heights on Continuum.
A good release though, and puts him back on the right path for the next release. |
