4.5 superb
Chthonic 十殿 Mirror Of Retribution
Everyones comparing this to Cradle of Filth, and yeah its a little similar, but its also genious. The screached vocals and keyboards do bear resemblence to Cradle but the similarities end their. This is an album bursting with ferocious riffs and divine melodies. Chthonic use their native instrument, the Erhu, to devastating effect, its signature sorrowful sound can be experienced in songs such as Blooming Blades or Fourty Nine Theurgy Chains. A must listen for any metal fan.

4.0 excellent
Abigail Williams Agharta
Absu Absu
A wild mix of thrash, black and death metal, mixed into a stew of proggressive occult goodness. My only complaint would be that sometimes the extremely technical songs lack form and sound a bit like a barrage of riffs, however this is only a minor complaint. This is a very impressive album that takes you on a psycadellic trip through the Magic(k) world of Absu.
Behemoth Evangelion
This is a Behemoth album, so if you know them you'll know what to expect, blasting, growling, riffs and an atmosphere of a burning city. While this is nothing new from Behemoth, it is a exceedingly well put together record full of spirit and hum-able riffs. This album takes Behemoth one step closer to becoming Gods of their Genre

Job For A Cowboy Ruination
A decent album and a massive improvement from their deathcore origins however after the best song on the album starting it off (Unfurling Of A Darkened Gospel), the album drifts off into a honey like substance full of riffs that blur into one another, covering all song structure in their vicous sweetness.

2.0 poor
Veil of Maya [id]
The good riffs are overshadowed by the flat tone and uninspiring delivery.

1.5 very poor
