It's not Mort's best, but it is largely enjoyable. There are many different styles mixed on this disc, anything from thrash to death to groove metal, it's all here.
Mortification Brain Cleaner
This album was a return to Mort's death metal beginnings. Honestly I found a lot of the lyrics to be subpar and some of the riffing generic. It's not a bad album, as there are some definite stand-out tracks, but it seems that Mort was suffering from lack of creativity here and just went for the old-school throwback.
Mortification Relentless
This is an album worthy of any Mort fan's collection. It has a few really good songs, but overall not the band's best work imo.
Mortification Primitive Rhythm Machine
The title track alone is worth owning this... one of the most interesting and catchy songs Mort ever wrote. The rest of the album is a dance between thrash, groove, and grind, sadly lacking in cohesiveness. Definitely some fantastic songs here, but overall a little sloppy for Mort.

Tourniquet Stop the Bleeding
Great music, but can't get into the vocals on this one. Never did care for much falsetto
Tourniquet Where Moth and Rust Destroy
A solid album... not my favorite by these guys, though. It has interesting guitar production and some fantastic songs... especially the title track... but it seems that the band lost a lot of passsion with this album. Check out their older material first.
