I wasn't disappointed, the album engulfed me with emotion and hard guitar driven tracks. It has tracks for every emotion i feel and quickly became my favourite British rock album.4.5 superbAesop Rock None Shall PassCity and Colour Bring Me Your Lovea well rounded album, full of emotion and personality. a suprisingly fantastic acoustic album from someone of a post-hardcore bandFightstar Grand UnificationFuneral for a Friend Hoursa rollercoaster of emotion, a perfectly display of angst and aggression. Lostprophets The Betrayed4.0 excellentAtmosphere God Loves UglyAugust Burns Red Constellationsa definate in any die hard metalcore fan's collection. definately a band at the forefront of the genre Biffy Clyro Only Revolutionsblink-182 Greatest HitsBrand New Daisyunpredictable, stands out from their contemporariesCharlie Simpson Young PilgrimEnter Shikari Common DreadsLinkin Park ReanimationToo many people expect a metal album when they hear the name 'Linkin Park'. the way they managed to pull off an album quite opposite in style to what people associate with them is the most dumbfounding thing about this album. It is a well-rounded album which exudes originality from a commercially-charged, manufactured genreParamore Brand New Eyesdefinitely better than the other two albums, musically and lyrically. The Used The Usedrarely do emo debuts have such a diverse sound, a suprising amount of emotion and a fantastic sound to match3.5 greatAlexisonfire Old Crows / Young CardinalsAlexisonfire are consistent, producing a great album, but nothing more than that.Biffy Clyro PuzzleBloc Party A Weekend in the CityBloc Party IntimacyKasabian West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylumfantastic singles, works well as a concept album, but a few filler songs which disappoint in my opinion3.0 goodLostprophets Liberation Transmission2.5 averageEminem Recovery2.0 poorMuse The Resistancei find people either love or hate this album. it's not that i hate it, it's that it could've been a lot better. tracks like 'Undisclosed Desires' shouldn't have made the album let alone been a single. the vision was amazing, just the execution was awful. hopefully Muse will regain some dignity with their next albumTrivium Ascendancy1.5 very poorAvenged Sevenfold Avenged Sevenfoldi really tried to like this album. but labelling it as the equivalent of Metallica's 'Black Album' sets yourself up for a massive uphill struggle. Self indulgent tracks like 'A Little Piece of Heaven' makes me question is this still the same band that released tracks like 'Beast and the Harlot' and 'I Wont See You Tonight'?
