| The Devil Wears Prada continues to amaze me. Every album they release blows me away, and they continue to do so with this one. Mike's vocals are more refined this time around. He has tremendous range, and has really been dedicated to his work. If you ever watch an interview with Prada, you will see that they honestly care about what they do. This album does not have as many breakdowns as their previous works, and they add more choruses in, but it is great nevertheless. I don't understand why everyone on this site has been hating on TDWP constantly. People say they're generic? The vocals are atrocious? Is that why With Roots Above and Branches Below made it all the way to #11 on the billboard 200? Yeah, not the billboard 200 for metalcore music, I mean the billboard 200 for all genres of music. That is unheralded in this genre, and they deserve a lot of credit. If you really think The Devil Wears Prada is terrible, try going to one of their shows. You will be blown away. If you haven't listened to this album, just give it a try. Don't listen to all the haters that have absolutely nothing good to say about one of the most popular bands out there. |
