| This is probably their best release yet, it can't be compared with their other albums coz it's different. Welcome Home Armageddon is full of energy and new ideas. 'Old Hymns' is something new for them, it's a punk song with great vocals from Matt, best song on the album. Other standouts include: Spinning over the island, Owls an the Iron maiden-ish title track(Listen to the opening part of the song and you'll see what I mean). Only song that doesn't do it for me is 'Man Alive'. Great album. Review coming soon. |

| So, The Used back with another album, many a fan would have wondered what direction they will take with their sound. With every album The Used have slightly changed their songwriting and overall sound. With their breakthrough self-titled debut album they brought something new and raw to the music world. Many people fell in love with The Used and thought: "This is some good *** right here". Then when their second album came out there were a lot of disappointment amongst their fans. And the third album followed pretty much in the same vein. rThen came their fourth and best album, 'Artwork'. If you compare this with the other three releases it sounds a bit like all of them, but not completely. While 'Artwork' doesn't really impress on the first spin, after a couple of listens you will like it. 'Blood on my hands' is the hardest song on the album but isn't really one of the standout tracks. Songs like 'Born to quit' and 'kissing you goodbye' will be remembered as some of the best pieces of music that The Used have created.rIf your an old fan, give it a try. People that is new to this band will also like it. This four guys are growing as musicians and it's quite evident on this release. |

| Don't be fooled by the name of this band, these 6 guys from tdwp knows how to make some heavy music. The first song I heard by them was "Danger : Wildman", it's an amazing song with lots of screaming(also low growls) and Jeremy Depoyster delivers the chorus with he's beautiful clean vocals. The song hooked me instantly and I must say the rest of the songs certainly is up there with the same quality as "Danger : Wildman". This is certainly metalcore, and with so many metalcore bands out there sounding the same it pleases me to hear that Tdwp doesn't sound like anyone else. rThey, along with Underoath and August Burns Red, are a christian band. You can see it in the lyrics of most of the songs, they always have some kind of message for the listener. If your not a Christian it doesn't mean you won't enjoy this album. The drummer, Daniel Williams, really shines on this album with some great drumming, with the use of the double bass pedals. The guitar work on the album is not that special, but it fits well with the music. The keyboards give the songs something special, and it's not overused. |
