From "Tha Mobb" you can tell shit's gonna be a hip-hop classic. Even though Lil Wayne is whoring himself out to do collabs with other artists and is pretending to play the guitar these days, you can't deny this album was a masterpiece.

Zion I and The Grouch Heroes in the City of Dope
Wow. MC Zumbi and DJ Amp already fit together like Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek but throwing in The Grouch (as Mos Def, naturally) leaves me reminiscent of the most classic of classic hip-hop collab albums, 'Mos Def and Talib Kweli are Black Star.' Not so much in terms of production or even lyricism, just the effortless comfort that MC Zumbi and The Grouch rhyme circles around each other, neither one out-shining the other or leaving songs lopsided. Beautiful album.

Great debut from the Bloody Beetroots, but possibly too long. Twenty tracks may be five or six too many. After "Fucked From Above 1985" or "Theolonious (King Voodoo)" it starts to wear on you and your ears. Otherwise, solid album.

Vampire Weekend Contra
Is it just me or does this album just feel too cluttered? It's like Vampire Weekend took what they achieved with their s/t and just added a shit load on top of it. At certain points it works out alright but the overall feel of the album is messy. Too much going on for it to be as good as "Vampire Weekend" but still a very solid sophomore release.
will.i.am Songs About Girls
While songs like "I Got it From My Mama" and "The Donque Song" can be most infuriating, if ryou're listening to this album for it's lyrical value you're an idiot. Seriously, not many rcan produce an entire album of radio-friendly hip-pop like will.i.am can. The fact that this ralbum didn't do better commercially is pretty ridiculous considering the most recent Black rEyed Peas album, 'The E.N.D.,' sold exceptionally well and is also produced by will.i.am. rIt's sad his solo work didn't do better because most things will.i.am graces with his rproduction do reasonably well. I mean, really, the track "Impatient" is lifted almost rexactly for the song "American Boy" by Estelle.

Jason Derulo Jason Derulo
Jason Derulo? Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Lady Gaga The Fame
Hahaha seriously? This is god awful. Everyone keeps saying how original and refreshing Lady Gaga is.... how!? How can you honestly say that? Her music is bland at best. That 'original sound' that she's so good at has been done numerous times already, years ago at that. If anything, yes, she dresses herself very oddly. No more, no less. She is nothing new in terms of her sound, talent, or overall music. The absolute worst thing about this record, however, is that her single "Poker Face" is a blatant and sickening rip-off of Yelle's "Amour du Sol" from her 2007 album 'Pop-Up.' Disgusting.
Lloyd Banks Rotten Apple
Snoop Dogg Ego Trippin'
There are just too many similar, redundant tracks for this to be anything above average. 21 tracks and only four or five that stand out, including the single "Sexual Eruption." Snoop can do better.
