| Gore-Groove Slam kings WTC have had mixed reviews from the beginning of time. First it was the shock of the overtly graphic lyrical content mixed with gutturals that could only be spawned from a refilling-toilet. Then elitists started having hissy-fits about messy blast beats and simple chugging riffs. One thing WTC seems to succeed in is making themselves known whether being ripped on or moshed to and remains one of the most popular slam bands in the U.S. "Beyond Cops, Beyond God" admittedly is one of the most awful titles ever but their sound remains aggressive and slightly unique and even more mature, stepping up from previous releases. I'll be one of the few to stand up for these brutes. |
