5.0 classic
Agalloch The Mantle
The Hawthorne Passage is perhaps the best metal instrumental I've heard in a long time. But the whole album is absolutely stunning.
Agalloch Ashes Against the Grain
Antonio Vivaldi The Four Seasons
Nigel Kennedy has an amazing rendition of this. It never comes close to being dull. His version of Winter sounds ridiculously metal in several places.
Gustav Holst The Planets, Op. 32
This might be my favorite classical suite. Mars is so metal, and Jupiter is so jolly. (Except for that sad part in the middle.)
Howard Shore The Return of the King
Modest Mussorgsky A Night on Bald Mountain
Opeth Still Life
I have a soft spot for concept albums, so this just slightly outranks Blackwater Park for me.
Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here

4.5 superb
Agalloch Pale Folklore
Animals As Leaders Animals as Leaders
Antonin Dvorak Symphony No. 9 in E minor, Op. 95, B. 178
Baroness Blue Record
Edge of Sanity Crimson
Edvard Grieg Peer Gynt, Op. 23
Peer Gynt is almost never boring. However, it only has 4.5 because of the ridiculous vibrato female singing, which I absolutely hate.
Howard Shore The Fellowship of the Ring
Howard Shore The Two Towers
Ihsahn After
King Crimson In the Court of the Crimson King
King Crimson Red
Mastodon Leviathan
Mastodon Blood Mountain
Mastodon Crack the Skye
Metallica Master Of Puppets
Opeth Blackwater Park
Opeth Damnation
Pink Floyd The Dark Side Of The Moon
The Ocean Precambrian

4.0 excellent
Baroness Red Album
Bathory Hammerheart
Bathory Twilight of the Gods
This might actually deserve a higher rating. The classical influences really make it stand out.
Blind Guardian Nightfall In Middle-Earth
Blotted Science The Machinations of Dementia
Dmitri Shostakovich String Quartet No. 8 in C Minor, Op. 110
Ennio Morricone The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Exivious Exivious
Green Carnation Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness
Iced Earth The Glorious Burden
I'm only giving a rating to the Gettysburg Trilogy; one of my favorite metal epics ever. The rest of the album could go down the toilet for all I care.
Iron Maiden Powerslave
Come on, it has The Rime of the Ancient Mariner on it. Before I'd ever heard it, I knew from the title that I'd love the song.
Iron Maiden Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
James Horner Braveheart
Jeff Loomis Zero Order Phase
Kalmah 12 Gauge
Kamelot The Black Halo
Kamelot Epica
King Crimson Lizard
Mastodon Remission
Metallica Ride The Lightning
Metallica ...And Justice For All
Nevermore This Godless Endeavor
Opeth Ghost Reveries
Primordial The Gathering Wilderness
Primordial To The Nameless Dead
Primordial A Journey's End
Primordial Spirit The Earth Aflame
Symphony X Paradise Lost
Tyr Ragnarok
Tyr Eric The Red
Tyr Land
'Ocean' and 'Land' are oustanding tracks, and the rest is quite good as well. Special note for 'Valkyrjan', which is based off of Solveig's Song, by Edvard Grieg.

3.5 great
Fen The Malediction Fields
Opeth Watershed
It just doesn't have the standout moments of their other albums. It's not bad in any way, but it doesn't appeal to me that much either.
Pink Floyd The Wall

3.0 good
Amaseffer Slaves for Life
Excellent at first, but wears off eventually. Still a decent album.
Orphaned Land Mabool (The Story of the Three Sons...)
I liked this a lot at first, until some retard said they were incredibly cheesy, and now I can't stop thinking that every time I listen to them. Seriously, screw that guy.

2.0 poor
Ensiferum From Afar
Linkin Park Minutes to Midnight
Slipknot Voliminal: Inside The Nine [DVD]
Slipknot All Hope Is Gone

1.5 very poor
Hawthorne Heights If Only You Were Lonely

1.0 awful
brokeNCYDE I'm Not a Fan, but the Kids Like It!
Hawthorne Heights Fragile Future
