Put hype and his OF association aside, and you still have not only a superb major label debut but one that distinguishes him from other singers in his genre. With such quirks as the Playstation start up tune opening the album to references of a Dragonball Z villain, each song feels like a dive into Ocean's (no pun intended) subconscious. Such songs as "Pyramids" and "Bad Religion" are standouts as well as likely contenders for year end lists.

Snoop Dogg Doggumentary
Snoop Dogg seems willing to do anything. He provides old school outings (even bringing in funk legend Bootsie Collins in two of his tracks), mainstream sounds (Wet, Boom) and unexpected experimentations (Superman). It's flawed, but its not bad. Snoop speaks of familiar subjects with charisma and his signature flow. He may not be going for nostalgia, but its still worth a listen (if you have an open mind)

Triple F is to Flockaveli as Reign of Terror is to Treats. The hard hitting bangers that complimented Waka Flocka's aggressive ad libbing have been mellowed out. It's not bad, but don't expect any "Hard In The Paint" like material in this one. Wait for the next mixtape.
