5.0 classic
Crass The Feeding of the 5000
Poor production quality and poorer musicianship (even for punk) makes this album little more than dull background noise.
Dead Kennedys Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables
It took me awhile to get into the Dead Kennedys. Than "Kill the Poor" started getting stuck in my head. Besides earning me a few suspicious looks on the subway, that also drove me to buy "Fresh..." and I actually enjoyed the album a lot. While Jello's political rantings and ravings are still a tad annoying to me, you can't deny his manic energy, as well as the manic energy of this band! This is what rock n' roll should be! Short, punchy, fast, fun, and not too elaborate.

Nirvana Nevermind
A great combination of pop with alt-rock noise. Nirvana may be overrated, but they're anything but bad.
Sex Pistols Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols
What can you say? This belongs in any punk fans collection.
The Stooges Fun House
The Stooges Raw Power
One of my favorite records of all time. I think it's a testament to the Stooges that even today, "Raw Power" is the loudest record on my MP3 Player. And my MP3 player doesn't have a whole lot of lightweight music on it!
