| Jack White Fear of the Dawn |
| Jack White No Name |
Jack has been back in his element since his 2022 release, Fear of the Dawn -- And I am here
for it! Fear of the Dawn was one of my highlights from that year and this one is already
looking like it will rank high for 2024 as well. More stripped down and raw than that
release but that's kinda what many of us fans have been asking for. Let's just keep these
bangers coming! |

| Fight Paris Paradise, Found |
Wow! Insane that this album is already 18 years old and is still pretty much unlike anything
else out since. They were like a southern rock Motley Crue mixed with some mid-2000s post-
hardcore vibes. Sure, Maylene, He Is Legend, ETID, and others had their influence (for solid
reasons) but Fight Paris were more on the fun side of things. Are the lyrics poignant and
insightful? Not a chance in hell. Just some dumb "sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll" fun to
combat the seriousness and overall malaise of the day. There are a couple of skip-worthy
tracks but this album is still a fun, wild ride for anyone looking to take life a little
less serious |

| Psychedelic Porn Crumpets Carpe Diem, Moonman |
| Honestly, this could be considered High Visceral III! The singles are definitely the "heaviest" tracks here. After "Weird World Awoke" come the softer cuts (aside from Incubator), which will hit for fans of the High Viscerals and Whatchamacallit. "Qwik Maff" was a pleasant mathy surprise and the intro and outro on "Out the Universe Pours" is something to behold! Closer, "Concrete & Cola", sounds as sweet as cotton candy on a beautiful day at the fair. Carpe Diem, Moonman isn't my favorite PPC album by far; I actually enjoyed Fronzoli more in comparison. But if you're already a fan of the band, it's still an enjoyable time with a few curve balls thrown in the mix to keep things interesting. |
