| Good album, don't get me wrong. There are some gems here, but the album gets very samey very quickly. "Greenwood" is not only a great song, but is about a house I used to help run in Greenwood, SC, so there's a bit of a personal tie there. "Skeleton Key" is easily the strongest song though... That all being said, I find this an improvement over their last effort. If they build on the more lasting melodies here, and work on having a more diverse tracklisting, the next album could be even better. |
