I guess the real problem with this album is fans of his previous work are die hard rockers and this album doesn't seem to have been made for them. I think in years to come, this will become one of my 'guilty pleasures', since I thoroughly enjoyed it repeatedly when it first came out and although I don't listen to it much these days, I still enjoy the odd track when they pop up on 'shuffle'. Having said all that, I thoroughly hope CC returns to his rock roots for the next one.
