It's a grower, that's for sure, so give it a couple of listens. More consistent than BHAR although nothing will top Knights of Cydonia as an album closer ( epic! ), and does not alternate constantly between hard rock and soft classical inspired every two tracks like Absolution. This album is consistent and the tracks blend in well once the album's sunked in. Hard to compare to other albums, it has some of the best and not so great elements of previous records. At least it's better than The Cribs, Green Day and Kasabian's latest efforts.4.0 excellentMother and the Addicts Take the Lovers Home TonightAmazing record, it's like putting Franz Ferdinand on heavy dope and throwing them in a cage and recording crazy jam sessions they would come up with. Funky, frantic, edgy, silly is what to expect but it was one of 2005's most refreshing and unpretentious records to come out. Good times reallyRadiohead In RainbowsSome amazing songs ( 15 step, Bodysnatchers, Nude, Jigsaw ) but some yawners ( Weird fishes, House of cards, Videotape )3.5 greatU2 Pop3.0 goodU2 All That You Can't Leave Behind2.5 averageU2 How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb2.0 poorU2 No Line on the Horizon
