With that said, to further what every one else has said, this album IS definitely different from previous Brand New albums. I've grown to love progressive bands, for example, Minus the Bear, Propagandhi, Brand New. So I had a hunch this was going to be surprising. And well, it was, but in a good way. I really don't have anything bad to say here, except for "Be Gone," that is a track that I cannot even plague my ears with. Every other song on this album is great. I love how Jesse's vocal are different and very intense. I also love the guitar, the lyrics... But I'm not even going to compare this album to Br& New's other works. It's not worth it, every album is vastly different. And that's what gives me pleasure listening to Brand New and progressive bands. You never hear the same shit twice, and it's amazing they have talent enough to re-create themselves from album to album. I give them props for not playing the same old shit like Taking Back Sunday and all those d-bags always have. x
