Hello guys,I am new from sputnik music and I am going to review the new Our Lady Peace Album Titled-Burn Burn,Im going to go through this album by reviewing every song,i find it easier,anyways leave your comments below if you agree or disagree,lets get started...
1. All You Did Was Save My Life-So...this is the song that has been hitting airwaves for a while now,and although it is a great song,with some uplifting lyrics,it is not the best song on the album. 3.5 stars
2. Dreamland-This song starts off with piano and then Raine Maida sings through this dark,yet uplifting song,about kids of the future. This is one of my favourites. 4 stars
3. Monkey Brains-Starts off as a 90's punk song and quickly tearns into a quirky anthem,with supurb lyrics,even though it drops down into a quiet verse,it barely loses any of it's steam. 4.5 stars
4. The End Is Where We Begin-Ok this is one of the albums down falls,it is definetly not a bad track,but it is a track that has absoloutly nothing going for it,you could call it filler. It has extremly average lyrics,and it is a standard rock song 3 stars
5. Escape Artist-This song is almost all acoustic and has incredble lyrics,with a haunting chorus,you can really appreciate Raine Maida's vocals here,It's more of an experimental approach for Our Lady Peace. 4.5 stars
6. Refuge-Ok if it wasnt for this song,i probably would of given this album a 4.5,in conclusion this song is just plain boring and has no uplifting lyrics at all. BORING 2 stars
7. Never Get Over You-Let's be honest thier are a number of songs that are about relationships and the ups and downs off them,but Raine Maida adds such a neat texture to this beautiful song,you can't help but appreciate this track. 4 stars
8. White Flags-This Song Rocks! Most of the Burn Burn album has been slow,and focused on melody,in a good way,but this song just drops all of this,and converts into a fast paced rock anthem that has ambition and attitude. 5 stars
9. Signs Of Life-Yet another acoustic song,with great lyrics,thier is nothing wrong with this song,but it feels a little out of place on this album compared to the rest of the songs. 3 stars.
10. Paper Moon-What A Closer! I am confident this will go down as one of the greatest Our Lady Peace songs of all time, This song makes you smile,makes you want to sing,and it inspires you, A Perfect Way To End An Excellent Album 5 stars
