Cauterized should have been half of the length because it drags after 4 or 5 minutes and the Immigrant Song cover is a fun novelty but it really isn't that great. Overall this is a solid record. |

| This was one of my most anticipated albums of the year and it delivers on every level. I absolutely LOVE the production on this album. My favorite aspect being that the drums have a natural resonance and sound that is missing from a lot of modern music these days. On top of that, new drummer Rubin Israel provides an added spark to Delain with some really solid playing. If you are already a Delain fan you will love this. If you like symphonic metal/rock with pop hooks you will probably want to add this to your library. |
