| I simply don't understand what is so appealing about the Sex Pistols. Its awful retro grinding punk played by a bunch of dudes who don't understand the basics of playing their instruments. Musical talent? Who needs it! Songwriting ability? Why bother! The Sex Pistols crank out a bunch of punchy, fast-paced, inyourface songs with grating vocals and people go crazy over it. I simply don't get it. The only reason this garbage doesn't deserve a one is because of their effect on the punk movement and their message. I respect their message, respect the pushing forward of the genre, but they just make absolutely terrible music. |
