Green Day 21st Century Breakdown
I just dont get it.. this album is brilliant. Green Day has refined their sound even more from American Idiot (which was great too) but this is even better. I love how they explore new and interesting styles and use symphonic sounds and stuff while still playing it in their punk style. They ought to be rewarded for such a such an inspirational epic album.
Out of a generous 18 songs, theres not a single filler imo. You can hear the solid effort put in each and every song, and it sure works!
Go Green Day!
Iron Maiden The Number of the Beast
A classic metal masterpiece. On par with Metallica's Ride the Lightning which came a year or 2 afterwards.. Every song on the album (tho thats not many) is good if not amazing. I cant believe the reviewer does not lik Run to the Hills, it's one of maiden's best songs ever, different yes but its awesome!!! Havent heard Total Eclipse yet tho.. Without doubt the greatest metal album made at the time... cant wait for new album!
Iron Maiden Brave New World
Karnivool Themata
Karnivool Sound Awake
WOW This album grows on you until u cant stop listening! First impression was decent, a re-listen made me like a few songs i didnt enjoy overly initially, but after a while u come 2 appreciate the pure goodness of every song (my exception is medicine wears off, which is really just an interlude so it duznt bother me) but this album has an amazing sound and offers 72 minutes of thought-provoking, mind blowing, incredibly worked prog. The moods created are unreal and the layers and technicality of the instruments/voice/sfx are really creative and impressive to listen to... Its hard 2 compare this to Themata - both amazing in their own ways.
Musically, this is a step-up but they both have their highlights. Set Fire and New Day blow me away everytime while All I Know is really soothing and creative. Not a bad song on the album, its really an album that will last.
Good work Karnivool! Shame tickets have sold out in my area =[

AWESOME ALBUM! My fave ahead of DTW.. Broken is my fave, Born Dead and Vices are also sick. Like em all except track11 and 12 and the interludes were not needed but the rest kicks major ass.
Best silverstein album, big improvement from the more-punk-than-hardcore album Arrivals and Departures, which was my least fave..
The screams are better than ever really powerful and perfectly balanced with clean vocals, which r as always incredibly smooth and catchy.
Guitars have a metalcor-ish influence in smoe songs good to see.
Whoever said BROKEN STARS is weak... =O WTF!!! One of the best silverstein songs ever!!!

Their my favourite band.. heres the irony.. its the worst album ive ever heard?!
Drums sound horrible, vocals are rediculous, appalling lyrics, NO SOLOS!!!
The only song i cant stand is the self-titled, which still goes way 2 long and repetitive.
Im only giving this a 1 because i cant give it a 0 LOL
Lucky Death Magnetic was a spectacular rebound to full recovery.
