Hexalyne's quietly made the best post-LP5 idm you've never heard of, once again. Mr. Sorin Paun is perhaps my favorite electronic artist actively making music today, and knowing his prolific self, I'm sure there's more stellar music to come.

Inanna Void of Unending Depths
Sleepin' indeed... This album is a wonderful progression from 2012's Transfigured in a Thousand Delusions, and like that powerful album, is quality from front to back. So far Inanna is 3 for 3, and I can't wait to see what they do next.

From what I've heard, this is a mix of mixes. If you want the best, start here.

Excellenty crafted melodeath. It's like a perfect mix of Insomnium, Omnium Gatherum, and Be'lakor all rolled into one. This band is one I'll be keeping my eyes on.

An album so decent that it had me re-listening to their past several records again to see if I missed something, given the love the band gets from melodeath fans and all. Yep, still hate the vocals, but they are much better here. Once again some of the best melodic soloing I've ever heard.r

It's really awesome to see Opeth return to their prog-death metal roots, been a long time coming. They are a bit rusty here, but I'm excited to see where Opeth will go from here. Great comeback, for sure. It's great to see the guys doing what we all want them to do again! Finally.

Fans are upset with my rating, and I understand that. But I do have a tip to help you understand, if you're willing to humor me at least. Set aside two hours, listen to this album, and then immediately listen to Back To Times Of Splendor. Then, tell me how you are baffled at my incorrect opinion on this. Do it.
