A Different Breed of Killer I, Colossus
High quality death-core. Touches of progressive and technical death metal spice things up.
Very creative and original.

I saw these guys play in between The Faceless and Meshuggah. Sure they're incredibly technical and proficient, but I didn't understand the appeal. I felt the vocals were either boring when whispy, or not hard enough when growled. Otherwise it was just a lot of noodling, which is cool, I guess... but not really my cup of tea. I still gave them an "excellent" because they are; I just can't break through the mass appeal.

Incredible texture throughout-- very well-paced and balanced. Like a fine melo-death-core wine.
The instrumental track is honestly a work of art.

Pretty good death-ish metal. I like the strained scream vocals and the songs are pretty well written.

Nothing ground-breaking or incredibly excellent, but a solid rotation on my Pandora, for instance.
