So, I am biased. ://www.last.fm/music/ONEdependent%2B%2526%2BTaki76 ://radiorecession.blogspot.com/ 2.5 averageDJ Cam Mad Blunted JazzI bought this album when I was 16. It was some of the first loop based chill out music I had heard. I freaked out about Cam's crossing of sounds. This albums spawned a lot of subsequent albums and artists. I later fell deep into all of this albums subsequent groups and artists. I think I found everything that this album spawned more interesting than this album. It is a good album for its time (The same year as Shadow's Endtroducing, I believe). However, after all this time MAD Blunted Jazz seems a bit boring. I must say his music really influenced my own production style, but I do not listen to this much anymore. If I want instrumental mish mash's. i would flip on endtroducing or some new and much more soulful and organic, Clutchy Hopkins. but I gotta give a pioneer his credit. I never really heard anything like that and it ultimately pushed me into creating instrumental music of a similar genre.
