This album is a fabulous return of The Prince Of Darkness. It's really nice that a 60 year old man can still put out a great album like this. Ozzy returns after his 6 year hyades with Black Rain. Granted it's not as good as Blizzard of Ozz or Diary of a madman it is step up from their 2001 album down To Earth. You may notice Ozzy uses voice effects in alot of the songs, also it sounds more produced then their early albums. Fast guitar solos and some really good riffs and vocals. The lyrics seem to center around Ozzy still being alive and War. Not going away - One of their singles. This song is about Ozzy still in the game and making albums. 3/5 I'm not gonna stop - Another single. All my life I've been over the top I don't know what I'm doing all I know is I don't wanna stop! This song is about Ozzy not stopping. Sounds like it could be a continuation of the first song. 3/5 Black Rain - One of my favorite songs on this album. Stars with harmonica. This song is about War. It builds up to Ozzy singing Waaaaaar Killing sons and daughters! Another failed attack! There is no turning back! Blood running down like water! Very catchy tune 5/5 The Almight dollar - Starts with some funky bass. Song is about money. Catchy chorus. Burning threw the end of my sphere watching the rain come down. Turn your head away in fear watching the ice crack down 4/5 Silver - Starts out with a punch. Fast guitar riff and fast singing from Ozzy with heavy voice effects. The synth gets louder and louder over his singing untill it builds up to a background "Go! Go! Go! Go!" behind Ozzys singing. One of my favorite tracks on this album. 5/5 Civilize The Universe - Starts off with catchy guitar then Ozzy starts singing Bombs exploding, and tears are flowing Chasing rockets and gasping for air You can call it justice or retribution Yet the reasons are never clear Freedom is just man's invention, and a soldier is just a slave Self inflicted, so addicted, Bad habits are hard to break. Another great track. 5/5 Here For you - Starts with piano. A ballad. Ozzy sings I remember all The good times I sometimes wondered if it would last. I used to dream of the future but now the future is the past. Kind of makes you think 3/5 Countdowns Begun - Nothing special, a song about war. Ozzy sings I see the death and the disaster, There is no happy ever after, The time has come, Countdown's begun 3/5 Trap Door - Starts out with a nice heavy riff. Ozzy comes in with heavy voice effects. HAs good drum beats behind Ozzy singing Too Late! Standing on the trap door! 4/5 Overall I say this album is great but not as great as Ozzys first few albums or Ozzmosis but better than Down To Earth with Robert Trujilio on bass. A nice return and I look forward to hearing Ozzys next 2 albums that he promised to release before he dies. The songs I recommend are Black Rain Silver Civilize The Universe Trap Door
