The album was decent and showed off the potential the band had. The production quality was poor but not abysmal and with only 7 tracks is was on the short side for being an album. Those are the only major flaws with this album. The lyrics vary between moderate and out right awesome, and Matt's screaming is decent but nothing to be amazed with. The back up singer does the most of the melody and sing-a-long parts which gives great energy to their songs. The guitars are a mix between brutal power chord riffs and subtle mini guitar solos. The drums are amazing with very technical fast beats and brutal breakdowns. That brings us to the best part of this album, the breakdowns. If there is one thing ATTWN can do right, it is breakdowns, each song has at least one brutal intense breakdown that makes you want to terrorize everything in your immediate direction. ATTWN showed a lot of potential with this album and it was a good prequel to The Hope We Forgot Exists. All in all a good album and a good band.2.0 poorAnd Then There Were None Who Speaks For Planet Earth? Now I don't really like the euro-techo genre but I gave this album a shot and basically it should have been an EP. There were 3 or 4 good songs then everything else just sounded way to similar.
